"Falling Away"

Hey! How are you all doing? I hope you're doing well :)
Well, yesterday, the rock band "Our Last Night" released a new video of their song "Falling Away", which is from their last album Oak Island Acoustic. The song wasn't in the "normal" version of Oak Island, so it was exclusive from Oak Island Acoustic.
The song is really beautiful, and the video makes it even more beautiful, I love to see people happy, specially when those people make me happy, so seeing Trevor holding Noah and being so happy draws a smile on my face :) I recommend you to give the song a try and watch the video, you won't regret it! Oh, and if you're going to The Come Alive Tour, share your experience and post pictures, that'd be awesome :D By the way, congratulations to Our Last Night, your music is amazing, and you keep getting more and more fans, and being more amazing!
Below you can watch the video, tell me what you think of it:

"All I Did Was Wrong"

Hey there everyone! I'm here to bring you something that you might be interested about :) The pop-punk band from Montreal, Amasic has released on iTunes a brand new acoustic song called "All I Did Was Wrong". I bought the song on iTunes about one hour ago, and, even though I usually listen to a song for more time to talk about it, I've been listening to it since I bought it, so it's one hour listening to it (and I'm still listening to it right now...), so I guess it's okay. I think the song was actually what I kind of was feeling in the moment I checked it out, so I found it really accurate. It made me feel good in some way, I can't explain how, it just did. So thank you guys so much :) The song is about doing things wrong, but having someone who still stays despite of that. When you do things wrong and there's someone who stands by you... it means the world, it truly does, because usually people just leave you. And it actually makes you wonder the reason they didn't leave. I don't really know if there's a story behind the song, or if it means something different from what I said, but this is my interpretation to the song, I hope you like it! If you want to listen to the song and buy it, check it out here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/all-i-did-was-wrong-single/id903918866
Below I'm posting an image of the album that I screenshot from my computer. You should definitely go buy it, because it's awesome and you won't regret it ;)

Also below you can watch the official video for the song which is pretty cool, so check it out, you won't regret it:

"Suicide; Stigma"

Hey there everyone! So, today I was going through YouTube and I found out that Fearless Records, yesterday, had uploaded a lyric video for the song "Suicide;Stigma" by The Color Morale. So, I decided to check it out to see if the song was good or not. And, the song is not good... it's totally awesome! I don't have enough words to even tell how amazing this song is. It's really beautiful, and the message it's got it's a really important one. It had been a very long while since I last listened to a song as powerful as this one. Whether you're having or not a hard time you should give this song a listen, because, as I said, the message they're carrying with it is so important. And, specially, if you're having a hard time for any reason, you should pay even more attention to the lyrics and the message; giving up is never the solution. "Suicide doesn't end the pain, it passes to the ones you love and remains", don't forget that, and stay strong, it gets better, I promise <3 P.S.: I'll write a post about suicide anytime soon, I don't know when, but one day I'll write it; meanwhile, remember you're not alone & you're loved!
Below I'm posting the lyric video of the song so you can give it a listen:

Of Mice & Men's first acoustic set

Hey there everyone! How's it going? I just listened the first acoustic set made by Of Mice & Men ever, and I felt like it was something I should share. On Warpet Tour, they played the acoustic set, and it was totally awesome! As I've said in previous posts, Of Mice & Men are a metalcore band, so listening to them play acoustic is very different than the usual, but still amazing. If you like the band, listening to the acoustic set is a must. Maybe you were that day at Warped and you watched it live, and if that's the case, it must have been an amazing experience, am I right?
Well, below I'm posting a video of the set so you can watch it and also let me know what you think of it:

"Fate"

Hey! Today, I'm going to talk about the song "Fate" by the rock band Our Last Night, from their album "Age Of Ignorance".
As the title of the song says by itself, the song is about the fate. Basically, the song is like wondering if there is really a fate, a destiny written for us, or if we can change that, if we can create our own fate. It's a very good fact actually, because I think that that is a question a lot of us have ever wondered. If we're meant to be something especifically, if we're meant to do certain thing, if we're meant to meet some person. Destiny, fate... I personally think about those things a lot. And, I don't really agree with that idea. Although sometimes I've actually believed in that, the idea of the fate kind of scares me. I don't like that idea, I believe that we can change our own fate, our own destiny. Why do I think that? Because if that was actually true nothing would make sense. It's like, "okay if I can't change my fate, tell me which is it so I don't have to make any effort the". So, I don't want to believe in that, I believe that you are the one who can decide how your fate will be, your decisions are the ones that will mark your future. Your future will depend in what you do, your choices will make you who you are and where you are. Maybe I'm wrong and we can't choose our fate or anything, but if that's true, I don't find life any sense. If we can't change our fate, then, why am I doing what I do? Why do I even try?
I think that we'll probably never get the answer for that, that we'll never know if we can "choose to play a different role", we can't find the answer for those questions, but I think that, meanwhile we don't know, the best thing we can do is actually try to play a different role, the role that we want to, try our best and find our place here. Because, if what I think is true, we can't change where we're from, but we can decide where we're going.
Below you can check out the awesome song (you won't regret it):

And, if you want to, you can also check out the acoustic performance of the song, which is pretty good too:

"Welcome To My Life"

Hello there everybody! Today, I decided to talk about the song "Welcome to my Life", by the pop punk band Simple Plan. I listen to that song everyday, and I feel like it's a really good song to talk about.
I don't really know the meaning Simple Plan gives to the song, or why they wrote it, but I'm going to talk about how it makes me feel and about what I think the song's about. Well, I wouldn't call it "think", because actually a song can mean anything to anyone, that's what makes music that beautiful. So, here we go, this is what this song means to me:
This song is about feeling misunderstood, lost, alone... and no one being there for you when you need it the most. It's about that moment when you're falling apart inside of you, and the whole world seems to be against you, lying you, making you feel even worse. I think that this is actually one of the most relatable songs I have ever had the pleasure of listening to in my entire life.
Actually, when I first heard this song I instantly connected with it, and it was the first time that such thing happened to me, and it was like... "magical". And, since then, when I'm feeling down or whatever, I listen to this song. Why? Because although it's a sad song, when I listen to it I feel like I'm not alone. I'm the kind of person who everyone thinks is a happy person, and has no problems. I remember that, once,  someone from my class said to me: "you're all the time laughing and smiling, how do you do it?" And, I couldn't help laughing, because I found out really funny. It was true, when I'm with people, most of the time I'm laughing and smiling. But that doesn't mean I've never been hurt, that I've never felt lost, that I've never locked myself in my room just trying to escape from everyone around me, that I've never been let down. So, I really relate to the part of the song that says: "you might think I'm happy, but I'm not gonna be okay", that part is like my whole life in a quote. That one isn't the one I relate to, I relate to the whole song, but that one is the most accurate for me. Even though other quotes of the song, like: "no, you don't know what it's like to be like me", that one is pretty accurate too. And I'd like to talk about it too, because, why not? Some people have told me things such as: "I'd like to be like you", or "I wish I was you", and my answer one of those times was, literally: "No, you don't". It seems like the wrong answer to that question, but it isn't. They probably meant to say they wanted to be the person they saw that was me. But, I'm not that person. I am, but I'm not at the same time. It sounds nonsense but it makes sense. Yes, I might smile and laugh everyday when I'm with people, I do that. Yes, I have great marks, and don't actually study much. Yes, my life seems completely perfect, and it's supposed to be perfect. But, I'm just too good at pretending sometimes. Being "me" is not that good as it seems, actually being me is harder than they can even imagine. I break down too, I fall apart and feel hopeless too. When I feel like that, I turn my music on; I hold onto music, songs like this one make me feel like I'm not alone and that someone out there understands me. I guess that that's why I love it so much. For me the song is everything I wish I could say in 3 minutes 43 seconds.
So this is the song for me, and I'd like to know that the song is for you, let me know in the comments if you want to :)
Finally, below you can give the song a listen in case you have never listened to it or you want to listen to it again:

Why do we listen to sad music when we're sad?

We all have had a shitty day when we feel horrible and nothing goes right, and in some way, we end up listening to sad music. We're sad, why listen to sad music? To feel even sadder? I saw a video in which the person was wondering that, and, also a friend asked me why I listen to sad music when I'm sad. So, I started wondering about the reason and asking myself why we all do that. And, I have an answer, which is why I think we do that.
I don't think we listen to sad music when we're sad to feel even worse. But, in contrast, I think we do it because in some manner it makes us feel better (maybe it doesn't, I don't know about you all). Why does it makes us feel better? I'm giving you an example to make you understand what I'm trying to say. When you're going through something, whatever it is, it usually makes you feel better when someone comes and tell you: "hey, I went through the same", "I know what it feels like", or "I understand you". Doesn't that make you feel better? Maybe it doesn't make you feel better, but it makes you feel like you're not alone. And, that little thing can even make all easier, feeling like you're not alone.
I think that that's what happens with music, specially with sad music. At least that's what happens to me personally. Even when the people who're playing the song are miles away and don't even know you exist, they still make you feel like you're not alone, and, sometimes, that's all someone needs, someone to tell them they're  not alone. And, the best part of it, is that you don't have to tell music your problems, you just have to find the accurate song to your problems, and I'm 100% sure there's one for yours.

Out Came The Wolves

So, today, I'm going to talk about a small band: Out Came The Wolves. I discovered them some time ago, thanks to a recommendation from a friend. They are a post-hardcore band from Minneapolis. They're pretty good. They have released two original songs: "The Lost Ones", and "Pretender". For the first one there's an official music video, which was also uploaded in BryanStars' YouTube channel; and for the second one there's a lyric video. Also they have a post-hardcore cover of One Direction's song "Best Song Ever". Actually the cover makes me even like the song. The members of the band are: Cameron (vocals), Alec (guitar, vocals), Austin (guitar), Ervin (bass), Andrew (drums). They're an amazing band, they deserve a try ;)
Below I'm posting their official music video for their song "The Lost Ones", check it out, you won't regret it:

Respecting other people's hobbies

Okay, I don't really know how to write this post, but here we go. A long time ago I wrote a post about respect among fandoms, and now I have decided to write about respect, about others' hobbies, also music related too.
The reason that I'm writing this post is because I saw something on the internet that showed everything but respect towards some bands, and I decided to give my opinion about this kind of things.
Every person has their hobbies, the things they love to do, what they enjoy, whatever, their escape from reality. Every person has their own story, the things they have gone through, things that you probably don't even imagine. And, when life gets hard, you look for an escape, you look for something to distract you, hopefully something healthy. You find things you enjoy, things that make you happy, and they make you forget everything.
Other times, you just enjoy that, and you do it because you enjoy it, not because you need to escape, that just makes you happy. You don't need an escape, but doing that makes you feel good, and you're not hurting anyone, you're not hurting yourself, you're just being happy. Every human being deserves to be happy, right?
If someone loves football, amazing. If someone loves basketball, amazing. If someone loves drawing, amazing. If someone loves painting, amazing. If someone loves vlogging, amazing. If someone loves reading, amazing. If someone loves writing, amazing. If someone loves listening to music, amazing. If someone loves playing an instrument, amazing. If someone loves dancing, amazing. If someone loves singing, amazing.
It's what they enjoy doing, whatever it is, makes them happy. Maybe they "obsess" over something they love, but they do that BECAUSE THAT MAKES THEM HAPPY. They're not hurting anyone with that, and, they, we, deserve respect. Because you might not understand why someone loves something so much, but you have no right to make fun of it, to judge that.
I have seen a lot, that, when a guy or girl loves music and bands or artists so much they really get critiziced. They're labelled as: crazy, obsessed, insane, exaggerated, stupid, and much more. And, I find it pretty hypocritical. Because, when it comes to other things, this doesn't usually happen. But, whatever, I think that when someone loves something, even sometimes more than themselves, there is usually a great reason behind that, and you cannot judge it unless you know the whole story behind that. It's not hard to just respect other people and the things they love to do meanwhile it doesn't hurt you :) Think about that! Hope you have a nice day/night :)

Ashton Irwin

Today, 7th of July, it is the birthday of Ashton Irwin. Ashton is the drummer and sometimes singer of the pop punk/pop rock band from Australia, 5 Seconds of Summer. His full name is Ashton Fletcher Irwin, he was born in Hornsby, Australia, 20 years ago. He got his first drumkit when he was 8 years old, and in 2011 joined the band 5SOS. He has got two brothers, and is the eldest member in the band.
He is so good with his fans, and I personally think he is amazing, not just as a drummer, also as a person, as an idol. Ashton, if you ever see this I want you to know that you're awesome and the 5SOS fam loves you so much, enjoy because you deserve it! Thanks, Ash.

"Can't Save Myself"

Hey! Today I decided to talk about a not very known song, called "Can't Save Myself", by the pop punk band As It Is. I was listening to it, and I found it a very good song to talk about. Especially because I find it very relatable, for a lot of people.
The song talks about growing up, and finding out you don't know where you belong. It's about hating yourself, even though you don't want to, but not being able to avoid doing it, you just do it. And, it feels horrible because you don't just hate yourself, you also hate every single thing you do, you feel like you're never good enough, for anyone, not even yourself. If that wasn't enough, that whole situation makes you feel like you can't save yourself, you're lost and don't know what to do anymore. You didn't decide to grow up and now you feel like you can't do anything, and that makes you feel even worse. Your mistakes, they feel huge for you, like you just can't stop making them. Your mind doesn't help, it just makes you feel even worse, it creates horrible things you can't escape from. You even start wondering if there's hope for you, as the song says.
I think that a great message you can get from the song is that you're not alone, because I guess that a lot of us feel that way, and maybe it's normal to feel that way when you're growing up, I don't know.
What I want to say from this review or whatever it is, it that no matter how worthless you feel, how much you hate yourself, how much you feel like you can't save yourself, you're never alone. There's a lot of people who feel like you, they're just faking smiles and lying saying "I'm fine", as you are. Don't worry, things get better :)
Below you can give the song a listen:

"Alone Together"

Today, I am going to talk about the song "Alone Together", by the pop punk band Fall Out Boy. The song belongs to their latest album "Save Rock & Roll", a great album in my opinion.
But, I'm not going to talk about the album now; I'm going to talk about the song. First of all, this is what Pete Wentz (bassist of Fall Out Boy) says about the song:
"This song is about how punk rock will never leave you alone, no matter what you can always turn to it. It's called Alone Together".
That quote is one of the most accurate quotes I have ever heard, honestly. Why? Because what Pete said is completely true. Punk rock will never leave you alone, music will never leave you alone. Have you ever had a terrible day and no one was there but music was actually there? Punk rock makes people feel so much better, although a lot of people disagree with that. Some quotes of the song totally reflect that, for example:
"I don't know where you're going, but, do you got room for one more troubled soul? I don't know where I'm going but I don't think I'm coming home".
I believe that there's a reason why all the people who listen to genres like punk rock usually end up being very similar, because we relate to the lyrics, we are troubled souls who are looking for a place that we can call our home, a place where we feel like we belong there. And with music we find that place, we feel like music embraces us, it actually does, it embraces us. We all feel alone sometimes, but for some of us, music is always there to make us feel so much better, because we might be alone, but, we can be "alone together".
I hope you liked this post! Below I'm posting a live performance of the song so you can give it a listen:

Warped Tour & Battle Of The Bands

Hey there! So, as I wrote in a post before, Warped Tour has started, and I decided to write telling you some of the bands/artists which were in the "Battle Of The Bands" and are going to play in there.
I am not going to talk about all the bands that are playing because that would be pretty annoying, but I will mention the bands I like the most of the ones in the "Battle Of The Bands" which are playing.
Amasic, pop-punk band from Montreal, plays the 5th July in Montreal. Congratulations, guys, you deserve it :)
SayWeCanFly, an acoustic artist from Ontario, plays in Toronto, the 4th July. Congratulations, Braden, you deserve it :)
A Breakaway, a rock band from Los Angeles, played in Pomona, the 20th June. Congratulations, guys, you deserve it :) I hope you enjoyed it there!
Also congratulations to all the bands that have played there & going to play there soon! Especially I congratulate the ones I have mentioned because I listen to their music often and I know they do deserve it and have worked hard for this, so hope you guys enjoy!
Below I'm posting a video that Braden Barrie (SayWeCanFly) posted in his channel recently:

"Sunrise" Acoustic

Yesterday, the rock band Our Last Night (I talked in a previous post about their last work) released the second official video from Oak Island Acoustic: "Sunrise". The song is my favorite one from the album, whether it is the acoustic or the normal version of it, and what I think of the video is this.
The song is completely beautiful in the original version, but the acoustic version from it makes it even more beautiful. That background in the beach and that piano and guitar and those voices of Trevor and Matt acoustic made the song one of the most beautiful acoustic performances I have ever listened to. I also loved how much emotion they put into the song. I recommend you to give the video a watch, you will not regret it ;)
Below you can watch the video, I hope you like it:

5 Seconds Of Summer LiveStream

Hey! What's up? So, yesterday, the pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer officially released their debut album worldwide. Their album is called as the band, 5 Seconds Of Summer, and it has 12 songs, including the hits "She Looks So Perfect" and "Don't Stop".
The band decided to do a YouTube LiveStream today to commemorate the releasing of the album, which has just finished and started about 2 hours ago. Also, they have released the official lyric video for the next single "Amnesia" tonight too.
Below I'm posting the LiveStream (which I did enjoy and found so funny!) and the lyric video (which is amazing, I recommend you to watch it):
