Thank you guys!

Hello there! Okay, so, this post is going to be like, you know, a deep one. I'm sorry, this is not about bands, or youtubers, or music. This post is for you all.

I wanted to dedicate this post to all of you, to the ones who read my blogs, the ones who read the stuff I post on wattpad, the ones who follow me on twitter and support what I do and I'm trying to do, the ones who interact with me, the ones who like the pictures I post, the ones who share my stuff... or basically I prefer to say the ones who are here. No matter what exactly is what you do, the fact that you're reading this right now is something I'm thankful for. 

I know you might be thinking that it's nothing or soever, but it isn't anything. 

Among my blogs, I've recently reached over 14K reads, and that's so freaking amazing! Also my first novel that I'm publishing on wattpad just reached 1K reads last week. Those things might seem like not a big deal, but for me it's just beyond amazing. And it's beause of you. 

Now that it's 31th December and we only have a few hours left until it ends, I wanted to take some time and thank you guys, because you're the ones who did that. 

On the other hand, I guess you probably know that on twitter, or here, or everywhere of the internet where I can I'm trying to help those who are having a hard time in everything I can. And, the fact that actually some of you come to me and trust me telling me your problems and stuff, it means a lot as well. I only do it because I want to help others, and I'm not asking anything for doing that. However, when some of you come to me on twitter, instagram, ask.fm or anywhere on the internet and tell me that somehow I've helped you, whether by talking to you or with the stuff I post... I don't really have enough words to express how much that means to me. When I say that it means the world to me to hear that, I really mean it. I wish I could just show you how much that means, to prove you that, but, for now, you'll have to believe my word because I don't know how to really show you that. 

You're just amazing, you support me, you even offer me your own help if I'm feeling down, you read the stuff I post, you do everything I could even ask for. 

I guess that I have nothing else to say. I want to keep doing what I'm currenly doing, and I hope to get to more people and you know, reach out to those who need it and feel like they have no one to turn to. We could try to reach 5K followers on twitter this new year that it coming ;)

Just thank you all so much for everything, and I really hope you have a happy new year and enjoy this day and you have an amazing new year. You definitely deserve it, I hope you believe that :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey guys! First of all, I hope you all had a nice Christmas day, and you're enjoying your vacations :) 

For the last few months, every month, I've been posting covers of different kind that I consider a must watching, or at least that I personally enjoyed myself watching, and, for that reason I'm sharing them with you.

Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone! It's already 24th December, and, although Christmas is tomorrow, since I don't know whether I'll post tomorrow or not, I wanted to say merry Christmas to everyone! 

And, since Christmas is almost here, I thought that the best way of showing that is sharing with you guys some really cool pop-punk covers of Christmas songs that I've discovered recently, and some that I already knew. 

Personally, if my family allows me to choose the music we'll be listening to in Christmas, I'll show them these tracks. Maybe they'll hate me after that because they're not much into my music, but, I don't really care. Everyone needs some pop-punk in their lives, right? I hope you enjoy these tracks:

Suck it Up

Hey guys! How are you doing? Yesterday, I discovered in YouTube a small band that I really liked, and I thought that it would be a good idea to write a post about them, called Suck it Up.

Suck it Up is a pop-punk band from Florida (I think, I'm not pretty sure about that). I'm really glad to say that this really is a pop-punk band. It had been  while since I last found a band labelled as "pop-punk" which was really pop-punk, and finding one like this was definitely something great! 

This band is an awesome proof that pop-punk's definitely not dead! Suck it Up seems like the 90's/oo's pop-punk bands, and for me, the 00's were some of the best years of music, it's great that these guys want to bring it back again. With a vibe similar to Blink-182 (if you like them, probably you'll enjoy listening to these guys), I dare to say that Blink-182 is one of their biggest influences. 

Well, it seems like this band is one of those ready to save pop-punk, and they're doing that pretty well, giving a good rendition to the label "pop-punk band". I believe these guys will go far, they have talent, and they make great music. 

Below you can give one of their songs a listen. This song is my favorite one of them, I hope you like it as well. Also this kind of music video is something that I really enjoy watching, and nowadays it's hard to find much videos like this one, although in the 00's they were very popular: 

"Demons"

Hi there! The other day in class we were listening to "Demons" by Imagine Dragons, and I started to think about the song, and I came to the conclussion that it's an amazing song to talk about. 

You've probably listened to this song, because it's really often on the radio. I don't usually like the music that is played on radios, actually I kinda hate most of the music that's on the radio. First of all, I'm not much into music genres like pop, and, second and the most important reason is because most of the music on the radio is empty and without meaning. However, this song isn't like most of those songs, and there's a really deep meaning behind it, so it's the kind of song that I like to talk about here. 

Imagine Dragons is a band that I really enjoy listening to, their songs are really good. 

This song is, for me, about how we all feel sometimes. It's about the "dark" part of us, about how we really feel inside and how we all have "demons" inside of us. 

The part of this song that really got me most was the chorus. Not because it's the chorus and for that reason is the part of the song that is supposed to hook you to the song. It was because of the really deep and true meaning of it. "Look into my eyes, it's where my demons hide", I think that people don't usually notice that, but, the part that shows our feelings the most is our eyes. People look at the smile, but, come on, haven't you ever faked a smile? I have, and you too. To fake a smile is really easy, but, the eyes always tell the truth. It's where you can see the "demons". I think that that's why sometimes when we know someone's not okay, we say "look into my eyes and tell me you're fine". When I want to know if someone's fine or not, rather than looking to their smile, I look into their eyes. 

Also there's another part of the song that is, for me, so beautiful: "I can't escape this now, unless you show me how". I feel like this part is expressing how we all need sometimes someone to help us, to show us the way out, right? 

Other thing that I must mention is the video, that is dedicated to Tyler Robinson, who lost his life to cancer in 2013. And, most of the video shows different people, and it shows their lives, what's inside of them but we cannot see. It shows how we all have things that cannot be seen, but still are part of us. Those are our demons.

"The Kids Aren't Alright"

Hey guys! I've got great news for you! The alternative rock/pop punk band Fall Out Boy has released today a new single from their new album: American Beauty/American Psycho which will be out in January. The single is called "The Kids Aren't Alright". The music is very catchy and the lyrics are pretty cool :) For me, it's such a great song, and it has lit up my day to see that they had uploaded a new single and then listen to it and finding it so awesome. Have you listened to it? If so, what did you think of the song? Oh, and you can already pre-order the CD on iTunes! 

PS.: yes, I thought they had done a cover of the song by The Offpring too, but the song is awesome anyway.

The Young and the Hopeless Album Review

Hey there! Today I was listening to the album 'The Young and the Hopeless' by Good Charlotte and I realized that it's been a long while since I last posted a review of an album, and I thought that it might be cool to write a review of this album. 

First of all, I'll talk a little bit about the band in case you don't know them for you to get to know about them. Good Charlotte is a pop-punk/alternative rock band from Waldorf, Maryland (US). The band was formed in 1995 and is currently on a hiatus. The band is currenltly formed by the twins Joel (vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar and vocals), Paul Thomas (bass), Billy Martin (guitar) and Dean Butterworth (drums). They're released five albums, and this one I'm talking about is the second one. 

This album was released in 2002, the 1st October. All the songs of it were written by Joel and Benji Madden, except 'The Anthem' (which was also written by John Feldman) and 'A New Beginning' (which was written by Benji Madden and Eric Valentine). The music style of this album is a pop-punk/punk rock style. The album has five singles: 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous', 'The Anthem', 'Girls & Boys', 'The Young & the Hopeless' and 'Hold On'. 

The album was released with the label "Epic Records", which is part of Sony Music, and the album is similar in some ways to the first album, but, in my opinion, is better. 

Now it's time to the 'track by track': 

- A New Beginning: the first track of the album is an instrumental song, and the only instrumental song of the album. It's a good way to start the album and to introduce the song that comes next. 

- The Anthem: this song follows amazingly the "punk spirit", not only with the rhythm and the instrumental, the lyrics about being different, about being yourself, and not being  a"trend" mixed with a video that fits is perfectly make an amazing punk song. - Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous: the third track follows a similar music style than the second one, and a really good one. The lyrics are about famous people, and about how they complain about everything and, in the end, they wouldn't survive or wouldn't stand it to live like "normal people" for a week, or even for a day. I find the lyrics pretty accurate. 

- Wondering: the music style is similar in this song aswell, but the instrumental is pretty different at the same time (that's not something bad, the instrumental is cool). The lyrics are pretty different though. Well, they're about love and talking about the feelings towards someone they're in love. 

- The Story Of My Old Man: this song, besides having an amazing instrumental, it's got a deep meaning. I'm not saying the other ones didn't. The song is about Joel and Benji's father, who left his family leaving their mother alone with four children and is warning people with a father like them not to end up like their fathers. 

- Girls & Boys: this is the most "pop" song of the album, but, even though the song says "not funny", for me is the funniest one. In the lyrics they talk about girls and it's like a critic of the fact that they say girls like cars and money. For me, it's a rad song, and the video is really funny. 

- My Bloody Valentine: this song comes back to a similar music style as the other songs, and the lyrics are about a murder for love. 

- Hold On: this is my favorite song from the album, and my favorite one of this band. The instrumental of this song is quieter, I'd consider it a rock ballad. The lyrics are really powerful, deep and emotional. It's about hope, and about not giving up, and a suicide prevention song with a suicide prevention video. I'd like to talk about this song in a post soon, so stay tuned for that!

- Riot Girl: this song comes again with a pop punk style and a pretty nice instrumental. The lyrics are about a pretty rebelious girl, which happens to be his girl as the lyrics say. 

- Say Anything: this song is one of the quietest songs of the album, and I would almost consider it an acoustic song. It's an emotional song about friendship and how it can change and how things can really change between two friends. 

- The Day That I Die: the instrumental and rhythm of this song is quieter than the other songs but faster than the one of 'Say Anything'. The lyrics of the song are basically a suicide note. One thing different in this song than the others is that Benji Madden sings lead vocals and Joel Madden sings back-up vocals. 

- The Young and the Hopeless: this track comes back with the punk rock style and with a fast rhythm that will make you want to jump. The lyrics are really cool, and are about being lost, being wrong, being young, being hopeless, being troublesome, and after all that, getting up and trying to win even though it's you against this world. 

- Emotionless: this is an acoustic song, and although the title says otherwise, the song is definitely full of emotion. The lyrics are about Joel and Benji's dad again, and it's like a letter to him, to tell him how life has been for them since he left, how hard it was for them to go on since he left, and how they're okay. 

- Movin' On: againg Good Charlotte come back with the pop punk style with an amazing instrumental. The lyrics are about life itself, about the feelings of life and all that.

"Never Too Late"

Hello there guys! It's been some time since my last post on here, and I apologize for that. I had exams so I didn't have much time to write on here. This is my 100th post here, and I wanted to write it about something with an especial meaning for me. Don't give me to wrong, everything I write here has an especial meaning for me, but I've been wanting to write a post about this for a long time and I'm doing that now. 

I'm going to write about a song called "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace. If you follow me on twitter or you have been reading this blog since the beginning (if that's the case you're honestly awesome) you'll know that my name on twitter is 'Never Too Late' and the name of this blog used to be that one too. Yes, I use that name because of the song, and what it means to me. 

My mother language isn't English, so when I first listen to a song, I don't always understand it. I understand some things and maybe the whole song if I'm paying complete attention to it, but if I'm listening to it not paying complete attention, I don't usually understand it. When I first listened to this song, everything was different. 

I remember exaclty the moment when I first listened to it, so I'll share it with you. I had just listened to 'Scars' by Papa Roach, thanks to a recommendation on twitter, and I saw on the youtube suggestions box this song. I liked the title, so I just clicked it. Then I started doing other stuff while listening to the song; I wasn't even paying attention to the video. The music was cool, but I wasn't paying attention to the lyrics. Suddenly, right in the part of the chorus, something made me pay attention to the lyrics. What I had just heard was something that shocked me. What did I do? I started listening to the whole song again since the beginning, and I ended up shocked. Not in a bad way, in a good way. 

The message of the song was something absolutely amazing, the point was that I could relate it to it a lot and it just left me speechless. I love how it says that you can change things, you can things turn around, no matter what. Sometimes we all feel like things cannot be changed and that it's impossible to get out alive, but there's hope, there's always hope. As Three Days Grace says: it's never too late. You might think your life is over, but it definitely isn't. Never give up, please. That's what this song is about, not giving up at all. 
The lyrics just spoke to me in a way I can't describe with words. When I say this song means a lot to me, I don't say it because now it seems 'cool' to say those things or whatever, I say it because this song has taught me a lot and has definitely help me through a lot. 

It's such a powerful song, and I think I could write a lot about what the song is about, but I prefer it if you guys check that by yourselves.

'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower' Review

Hey guys! Today I decided to do something quite different from everything I usually do. I thought that it might be cool to do a review of a book. The book I chose is: The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, a teenage novel by Steven Chbosky.

The book is about Charlie, a teenager who writes letters to someone and tells that person about his life and stuff. Charlie doesn't have any friends after his best friend killed himself, and he's trying to find his place. 

When he first starts in high school, he's all alone and people make fun of him for being "weird", and a "nerd". But, he meets Patrick and Sam, and he becomes their friend, and makes more friends. 

I'm not going to tell more about the story itself because I don't want to spoil any of you if you haven't read the book or watched the film. 

Personally, I love that book. It's my favorite book at the moment, and I've read it like three times and watched the film three times too. Yes, I'm obsessed with it. The biggest reason why this book is my favorite one is because I relate to it a lot. I relate to Charlie a lot; even my friends when we watched the film together said that I was like Charlie (I don't know if that's good or bad, but, whatever). His personality and mine are pretty similar actually. He over thinks every little thing, pays much attention to the little details, and that's basically what I do most of the time. And, I feel like I'm not the only one who's that way, so that feeling is awesome. If you're shy, keep everything to yourself, over think stuff, or basically feel alone, I think you should read the book. Anyway I would recommend this book to every teenager out there, and I'm not kidding. But, especially to the open-minded.

Daylight

Hello there guys! Today I decided to talk about a pop-punk band from Barcelona, Spain, called 'Daylight'. 

They were formed in 2004, and the band is currently formed by: Olek Burek (vocalist and bassist), Wojtek Burek (vocalist and guitarist), Victor Vera (drummer) and Alber Domenech (guitarist). If you like bands like New Found Glory, A Day To Remember or Simple Plan, you'll probably like these guys!

Their style is a pretty amazing pop-punk, and their lyrics are pretty cool! They keep alive the feeling that most pop-punk songs give you, which is really cool ;) It makes me happy to hear bands like this, especially because I'm from Spain, and bands like this give me hope in music from my country :) This band is great to put you into a good mood and put a smile on your face. 

They have recently released a new album called: One More Fight. I really like it, it's an awesome album! If you guys like the idea, maybe I'll review it in the holidays!

Drow Kid

Hey everyone! December has just arrived, and with it Christmas will arrive very soon and since that means vacation, I'll be able to post a lot once vacations start! I'm planning some cool stuff to do in my twitter account and in my YouTube channel and I'll start with it as soon as I finish my exams :) Also I've started writing a fanfiction and when my vacations start I'll probably start to publish it on wattpad, so stay tuned for that! Okay, now that I've finished saying what might have been boring for you, I'm back with what this blog is mostly about. I decided to write the first post of December about an alternative/acoustic/indie artist, called Joel Poe, also known as Drow Kid.

Joel Poe was born in Cuba, in 1993, the 6th October. He was raised in Madrid, Spain, and then moved to Florida. He learned to play the piano when he was only 5 years old, and was known as a prodigy by the age of 10. Also he was a pupil of Amy Lee, lead singer of Evanescence. 

He has a YouTube channel where he uploads covers and also original songs. Most of the music I listen to is rock, but I love his music. There's a lot of emotion in his music, and it's really beautiful. His piano playing is completely beautiful and so is his singing. 

For you to appreciate the beauty of his music, I'm posting below one of his originals, called "Let It Out", which is definitely worth listening to. The song is about Joel's self harm story and how he was able to put an end to it. It's very inspiring, and the message is really true and, if you're going through some stuff like that, give this song a try, it'll probably help you. I listen to it when I'm feeling down, hope it helps you too <3
